My Stinky Kitchen!!

Have you ever walked into your home after being gone a few days and get hit with a

nasty smell?! you know the one, you can't really find the source but that smell, so you start

on the hunt. Dishes were done, the floor looks clean So what is it?? more than likely it's coming from a dirty trash can or its bad food in the refrigerator/ garbage disposal, microwave.

These guys can sometimes be forgotten about and they can cause a real stink. They should be cleaned at least once a week with warm soapy water, wipe up all spills in fridge and microwaves, for tougher spills in the microwave boil water for 3min to loosen up the goop then wipe away. The garbage disposal... its nice to have but the smell from it sometimes well just plain nasty. I pour a half box of baking soda and a cup of white vinegar in followed by a hot water rinse, wash sink out the smell should be gone. you can also put a few lemon rinds in the garbage disposal and grind them up for a clean lemon smell.

Here is a list I put together I thought

Would be useful please let me know if you have questions.

Now that we are getting our lives back to a more normal routine

It’s a good time to pay closer attention to disinfecting items that are

Touched multiple times a day by everyone in your household!

So I have put a list together, for you to refer to.

1. Remote Controls

2. Games controllers

3. All doorknobs

4. Garage Door Opener (don’t forget the one in the car)

5. Cell phones

6. Car door handles

7. Light switches

8. Cabinet handles

9. House phones

10. Appliances

These are the best ones I could come up with off the top of my head.

And keep following the hand washing rules, use sanitizer after touching public

Surfaces like ATMs and gas handle pumps.
